I like to help people develop their language fluency by talking to them in the foreign language only but at the same time I try to communicate the meaning of words, sentences or modisms by mimicking situations, this has worked for me while teaching adults on evenings and I have felt that they have welcomed this system since in the middle of a discussion I expose alternate meanings of words or phrases and their uses with corresponding examples or applications.
I must really tell you that I can't say that this system is unique because I know there are other people who use other systems with probably better results than mine but I think that in the process many other ways are discovered and tried for effectiveness . |

My process is to engage the student at the level which they are currently working, and then jointly set up a curriculum that will accelerate the student to a higher level of their choosing. The process is one on one, using materials, texts, and exercises applicable to their needs and capabilities. |

The tape and video lessons. My classes are also flexible for the students needs and or desires. Japanese is not used in the class but if necessary, I can speak Japanese. I combine several methods such as Berlitz, ECC *repeat*, but prefer conversation. Different lesson plans can be used depending on the student. This is where flexibility and experience comes in. |
