I adopt an immersion approach, which means we will speak Chinese in the class most of the time. So you will be immediately in the Chinese speaking enviornment from the very first class. You learn the language by using it.
Rules and grammars will also be taught carefully. But these come a bit later after you have remembered some words, tasted some sentences and got some feeling of the language by yourself. Therefore the grammar will not be dry rules, but are really integrating into the language itself.
