Teaching approach:	I believe in and use a learner centered approach that emphasizes conversation and speaking as the gateway to language learning. My position is that in the course of any lesson--be it classsroom instruction or a tutoring session--the student should be speaking three fourths of the time, the teacher one fourth. By this I mean guided, goal oriented conversation or presentation, that, through usage, can instill grammar and syntactical rules and patterns.
