I believe that to learn a second language students must listen to the target language within meaningful contexts. Students must learn the new vocabulary and grammatical structures needed for communication and must be given opportunities to put the newly gained knowledge into practice. In order to make the input comprehensibl e I use the Teacher Produced Response (TPR) approach. I use gestures, signs, and demonstration s to make sure students understand the context of conversations . |
