If you would like to begin learning Latin from scratch, for students of any age I use the Cambridge Latin books, which you will need to buy (Unit 1, for example, which would be a school year's worth of work for a middle school student or a semester for an older student, is $28 on amazon, and the workbook is $16.). If you are already in a course and want tutoring, I will work with whatever system you are using. I prefer Cambridge, especially for younger learners, for its reading-based and culture-rich approach. Motivated adult learners might prefer Latin for the New Millennium, a more grammar-drive n and very authentic approach. We will decide together the best course for you or your younger learner. |
