I am interested in music and science and maths and hope to go into medicine in the future. I am a native English speaker and can speak Spanish fairly well but not well enough to be considered fluent. I am interested in learning Norwegian as Norway is a country with a beautiful culture and nature and I want to visit or live there in the future. It is also a good language to know before learning danish and Swedish which I want to do in order to experience more of the culture and nature in Scandinavia.

I have been trying to learn French for many years without success. The reason is that I read and listen to French but have never immersed myself in talking French so I would like exchange conversation every week with someone who wants to learn English. My level of speaking French is quite basic so it would be good to speak with someone at a similar level . I,m happy to talk on any topic.

My Dad and stepmum have lived in the Valencia region of Spain for a little over ten years. They are getting older and they will increasingly need support in the coming years. They have no intention of coming back to the UK. I am determined to learn to speak Spanish fluently. In the last few weeks I've been consistently practising vocabulary with flashcards (I currently have about 350 words that I can recall), but I need to face my fear and just start talking, no matter how slow and incorrect my speaking may be. My grammar is currently very poor and I'm looking for someone to talk to who will have patience with me. In return, I will help someone to speak English.
