I am a second-year learner of Spanish. My first language is Russian, my second is English.
I have lived in the US for the last 40 years. The only thing I am looking for is the language practice. Zoom or Skype is better than just an email because I think that it's easier to learn when one can see the face of your pal.
I just became a Gold member to make communication easy.

I'm always looking for ways to grow and be more interesting to myself and others, so last year I decided on a language. I've been studying Italian with a Pimsleur course since April 2011 and am ready start conversing though a little nervous to be honest. I learned Italian because I always wanted to learn another language and Italian is so beautiful to the ears. I'd like to go to Italy in October as a reward for my hard work.

I love French and would like the opportunity to talk with someone in French, so I can become really comfortable in the language. I would say that my skill level is moderate. I can usually read French with a dictionary. When I write French, it's a little stilted. I'm very slow speaking, and my accent is poor.
As for interests, I love art and books. I quilt. I have two teenage daughters. I appreciate people with a good sense of humor.
