Bonjour. My name is Christine and I am a native English speaker from the US. I am retired and I love travel, music, books, gardening, and art. I studied French throughout high school and college, but now I find that my level is quite low and I am eager to improve my French. I would, of course, be very pleased to be able to help you with your English in exchange for your help with French. translate

Hello, I want to learn to speak Canarian Spanish. I recently returned for a visit to Dominican Republic and wish I had been more fluent in Spanish so I could communicate with the people better. I stayed in a resort in Punta Cana, but next time I want to get out amongst the locals. I am doing DuoLingo right now, but I think I would learn better if I could use the 'natural method' and speak with native speakers. I'd also like to learn Amharic (a Semitic language spoken in Ethiopia), but for now I'll just stick with Spanish. I am an extrovert, very friendly and outgoing, and would prefer meeting up regularly at a local coffee shop or restaurant, but happy to start with voice or video calls to break the ice and get more comfortable. translate

Hey I'm Jeff Forrester. I'm 21 and a musician/hippie and I am interested in learning Irish. It'll be great for lyrics and drunken fun nights or simply just a way to trash talk police officers without being pepper sprayed translate
