I mostly like fishing, traveling, shopping and relaxing. I recently started watching Korean shows, impatiently waiting for Squid games 2, and now I watch them a lot! I want learn Korean so I can watch without subtitles, LOL. I had a Korean coworker and she would teach me a little sometimes but I changed jobs and shifts. It would be nice to learn another language as well.

Hello!! I am Kayla and I would really like to start learning Japanese! I just started so don't judge too harshly! :) I want to learn Japanese as I love languages but I find learning them very difficult. I've heard Japanese is hard so I figured if I tried learning Japanese other languages should come easier! I also find Japanese culture very interesting and cool! I love dragonflies, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Dragon Age, and the arts! I can't wait to meet you!!

I love to study language and culture, and I love Japan especially, and would love to study the language in depth as much as I can. I also teach children about different cultures through my job at a children's library, and would love to reach out to others to learn about these places straight from the people who live there.

I love anime and how there are so many different cultures all throughout Japan and I would like to learn Japanese in a more fun manner and would love seeing what it's like to talk to someone that is actually from Japan. I know a little already from watching anime and I have a subscription to a Japanese learning app but I mainly only know words here and there and I know how to read most hiragana, I just have trouble with translating 🤗 よろしくおねがいします!

I have a bachelor's degree in Spanish and French from 1989 and have only used my Spanish for a few years after that for work a little and then off and on since then. I just started a Master's degree in Education and have to do it in Spanish since I have enough hours for content hours for the education degree - otherwise, I would have to take a lot of other classes to have something to use for a Master's degree for education. So I need to really work on my proficiency over the next18 months - two years!
