I am a 50-something lifetime lover of the French language, although my dedication to it has been sporadic (took it in college and then forgot everything). I'd really like to be a proficient communicator in French -- I read it pretty well, but conversation is a real challenge -- performance anxiety, lack of confidence, mind goes blank. My husband and I live on a small ranch. I am an avid horse person, gardener and cook. I work full time in healthcare -- not clinical (I tend to faint at the sight of blood). I would like to practice spoken French with a native speaker and would like to help an English learner gain confidence in my language.
