While I was constantly exposed to Croatian as a child, adolescent and adult, my parents did not teach us Croatian to allow us to be assimilated into American Society. My father wrote many articles in Croatian. I want to read them in his native language. Now is my time to learn. I am mostly retired. I am a retired professional male with a science background. I live in Florida in USA and enjoy the climate and the activities of living on the coast. I play golf, cycle, fish and have a boat that I spend several days on the out islands with my wife and our two dogs. We both like to travel and particularly love Italy, although out trip to Tuscany this year was canceled because of COVID. I am trying to learn Italian so that I can make more of my visits and am happy to help with English in return.
