I spent my entire youth in Southern California, attending UC Santa Barbara (MA), UCLA (MS) and Loyola-Marymount University (Los Angeles, MBA). My wife and I then moved to northern California and I worked for IBM Software Development in Silicon Valley for 24 years and Oracle, also in Silicon Valley, for 7 years. After this, my wife and I moved to New York and I did contract Oracle and Data Analytics programming for two years. During the past two years, I have written a historical-ficti on novel that moves from Germany at the end of 1945 to New York and Moscow. The book is now published and I am assisting the Publisher with promotion. Wh ile I was with IBM, I spent three years at the IBM Boeblingen Laboratory, near Sindelfingen, a suburb of Stuttgart. I learned mediocre German but when I returned to the US, I stopped using it. Now, it is important that I have a working knowledge of German to promote my book. translate
