I'm a 71-year-old retired professor of English at a campus of the University of Wisconsin. I've studied French on my own, on and off, much of my life, after studying it in high school. I love the outdoors, birds, bicycling, hiking, reading (mostly fiction), and my grandchildren. I've always wanted to be at ease in French. I've been able to read pretty well, but understanding conversations has been difficult. I would enjoy meeting on Zoom.

I am a retiree living in Wisconsin, USA. My interests are cycling, tent-camping, science, literature, and many more. I studied French on my own for a year, then I took a college class, and I'm still studying on my own. I can read and write French not too badly, but my conversation skills need a lot of work!
