Salut! My name is Neda. I am 31. I live in America. I want to learn French because I took it for years and still have trouble with it.
I want to be able to read French books like Petit Prince and Hunchback of Notre Dame. It is something to add to my skillset. Fun fact: I also speak Farsi.

I'm a writer. I wrote a movie that got produced in French and, as a result of that, I suddenly have a lot of opportunities to work for French producers, one in particular, and I want to take advantage of that but I don't speak French at all. (It's not really a requirement- what they would be hiring me for are English language projects, but I would like to be able to have the possibility of conversing with them. Plus, in general, I'd like to get more out of the time I'm going to be spending there. I've been trying but I have no facility for languages at all.

Hi there! I've been a prospective novel writer for some time and would like a wee bit of help with just a few Gaelic Scot words and phrases for a book I'm (valiantly) trying to finish. Book is set in medieval Scotland ( early 1400s near Loch Lomond and Stirling ). Also wondered if anyone here knows how medieval French of this period contrasts from modern French, etc. Thanks…
