I would like to learn Spanish because I travel to central and south America. I am also interested in other cultures, so I am willing to help out other interesting people from anywhere with English. I am traveling to Puerto Rico in August, interested in communicating with anybody there.

I live in lovely Alaska where I learn and do many different crafts, many that are unusual or rarely done anymore. I simply love to know how to do as many things as possible. I love living in a place where doing so doesn't make me unusual and am a bit of a SciFi/fantasy geek.
I've wanted to learn German most of my life due to one side of my family being almost entirely German, however, I never thought I could. Then a weird translation of song lyrics led me to giving it a go. Now I simply love the language itself and hope to be able to speak with a close German friend in German on day.

Soy un estadounidense de 40 años. Aprendí español trabajando en California, Arizona y Colorado y ya que vivo en Alaska estoy olvidando la lengua. Me gustaría practicar para que no olvide todo. I enjoy teaching English and have some training in TEFL, but am not officially a teacher. I am interested in music, sports, languages, politics and meeting people from around the world. Me gustaría hacer nuevos amigos con quiene puedo practicar lenguas. Saludos. I am not a Gold Member.

I am in college and Spanish is my minor. I want to learn Spanish because I'm a quarter Mexican and Spanish is the fourth-most spoken language in the world! With Spanish, I will be able to work and travel all over the world, which is perfect because my dream job is doing economic development abroad. I love to travel and especially to learn about different cultures.

I am a 75 year old widower in great physical shape. I'm planning a trip to Guatamala in January and February and would like to learn a little Spanish. I live in the Meadow Lakes arean near Wasilla and would like to work with someone in the area. If all else fails I would drive into Anchorage for training.
