Email Exchange of Language and Cultures (Penpals)

A language exchange with a pen pal from Alamo is an excellent way to make a friend from Alamo, learn about its culture and improve your foreign language skills.

This type of exchange is suitable for language learners of all skill levels, even beginners. Because you have a common goal to help each other learn while discussing common interests, you are likely to make meaningful friendships.

Compared to live conversation, there is less pressure, because you can take your time to use a dictionary or refer to your lessons at a time of your convenience. It is also a great way to improve your writing, reading and grammar skills.

Hello, I am Isa and I am from the United States. I really enjoy being outdoors and hanging out with my friends. I watch lots of sports on tv and I want to learn Norwegian. I have many reasons for wanting to learn Norwegian, for travel and television but also to watch the Eliteserien. I love the Norwegian football league and I especially like the club Rosenborg. I love watching their YouTube and self-made documentaries and would love to learn Norwegian. translate

Currently, I am majoring in american sign language interpreter. However, the next language that I would want to learn would be korean. I liked to learn more about culture and maybe some expressions. Meanwhile I try and become fluent in sign language. I'd like to become friends with people from different cultures to learn from them. translate

I am a single retired grandmother of three. I love Italy and would love to get proficient in the Italian language. I enjoy reading, traveling, cooking, threater, and many other things. I would like to practice communicating in Italian (I know a little bit of the language). Goal would be to spend several months in an apartment and assimilate into the culture - not to be a tourist, but just an individual living in that lovely country and enjoying the culture. translate
