Hello! ^_^
I tried learning Japanese in high school, but have forgotten a lot of it due to not having anyone one to converse with.
I first became interested in Japanese because of a friend of mine who's family went to Japan for a summer. I was 7 at the time and it was exciting to receive postcards and letters from my friend while she was there. When her family came back they brought presents from Japan and had lost of photographs. I would ask questions about the culture and language, but the adults were very discouraging saying it would be impossible to learn and understand since I didn't grow up there.
As a teenager I became interested in Anime and manga. I never learned to read in any of the writing systems, but learned to speak basic conversational Japanese. Most of which I have forgotten.
Currently I'm reviewing an online comic I wrote and a friend of mine drew. I'm turning it into a short novel series that is suppose to still take place in Japan and feature Japanese high school characters. I really want someone willing to do a cultural exchange. Answer my questions so I can make my story as realistic as possible. I'm happy to help with your English and answer questions about America.

So if you need help with English or you want to talk with someone in English, feel free to contact me :) Greetings! (P.S. I'm not a gold member.)
