Email Exchange of Language and Cultures (Penpals)

A language exchange with a pen pal from Delavan is an excellent way to make a friend from Delavan, learn about its culture and improve your foreign language skills.

This type of exchange is suitable for language learners of all skill levels, even beginners. Because you have a common goal to help each other learn while discussing common interests, you are likely to make meaningful friendships.

TRYING to learn Russian and Mandarin. Need a native to tell me all the places I'm screwing up. I get different answers for translations from one translating program to the next. It's absolutely maddening! I'm a slow learner and pretty dumb, so maybe someone with patience, please.🙂 translate

Hello, I'm hoping to learn Spanish, possibly French as well. I live in an area with a high Spanish-speaking population and I would love to be able to help out residents who do not speak English. I've been using Duolingo for years, but practice only minimally and simply don't feel I'm progressing. I think I would be more excited about learning if I had a real person on the other end to talk to, learn with, and make a new friend to boot. As for French, I thought the language sounded pretty and wanted to learn it growing up. My school didn't offer it though, and I never pursued it on my own. translate
