My long term goals for the future are to live and work in Japan after I graduate from college. I am a Junior who is currently working towards a general business degree, although I am strongly leaning towards changing to a more specific business degree such as marketing at the moment. I really love Japanese culture and pop-culture, and would really like to get a better grip on understanding and speaking the Japanese language. There are lots of manga and novels that aren't translated into english that I have wanted to read for a long time, so being able to read some of those is more of a short term goal I guess. I would say I am below the intermediate level in Japanese. I know a decent amount of grammar, but not a lot of vocabulary and I am about 25% through learning the Joyo kanji. I would love practicing with a penpal to help me practice what I already know, and to help me learn new things as well. よろしくお願いします!

I am a 17-year-old girl living in America in the state of Florida. I speak English, but I want to study both the French and Korean language. I have been taking three years of French in a public school, and have received little lesson in Korean.

I am a retired attorney, soon to marry a native german speaker. She speaks english quite well, but I would like to meet her half way on the language front. From lack of use for the past 35 years my 4 years of german in college have receded to to the hidden corners of my brain. Ich wunsche Hilfe - und Praxis! (sorry about no umlaut in wunsche - U.S. keyboard.)
