Привіт!
My name is Lisa and I live in New Jersey in the USA. I have been working on learning Ukrainian for about 8 months now using Duolingo, some Youtube lessons and a workbook. I am enjoying it very much! I am looking for a conversation partner to continue learning Ukrainian and I can help them with learning English.
I decided to learn Ukrainian shortly after the war started in solidarity with Ukraine. Also, my paternal grandparents came to the US from Ukraine so I grew up with some of the culture but unfortunately we weren’t taught the language.
I have also been learning as much as I can about the history of Ukraine. I am so impressed by the strength and tenacity of the Ukrainian people! It makes me proud that half of my national origin comes from Ukraine.

Hi, my name is Athena, from the US, looking to learn Wolof first and follow with Korean or Japanese after. I am interested in Wolof because I recently found out I am Senegalese (in my blood) and I want to get more connected to my culture, so why not start with the language!?--I'm interested in Korean, and Japanese, just as personal interest of mine, and a strong interest in the culture, so If your looking to learn English I will help if need be considering that's all I have to offer!
