I am basically looking for a second career. I will be retiring soon from UCLA. I am one who is comfortable outside of the box and not one to sit at home watching TV. Sign language is something I have always wanted to learn. My concentration would be either in the medical or legal arenas. This sounds exciting to me.
As of this writing, my free evenings are: Sundays, Mondays and Tuesdays after 5:30pm. My working hours are: Monday-Friday 7:30pm-4:30pm .
I would like a teacher is well-rounded, patience, interested in helping me, respectable and knows sign language. Do not want someone who is judgmental, stuck-up or impatience. Sex, race, religion, age not a problem. Would travel to their home or place of business. I want to be comfortable around he/she as he/she is comfortable around me. No phonies.

I am a beginner Spanish speaker with 2 semesters of Spanish in college, however I haven't been speaking for about 1 year. I am learning because I feel it is essential for my career (nursing) and I am going on a medical volunteer trip and will need basic speaking skills. I would like to emphasize conversation. I have dedicated the 2 weeks prior to my trip to learning the basics of Spanish. I am looking for a teacher that can work with me intensively, one on one, for 2 weeks.
