I wish to learn Russian because I am traveling to Ukraine in July. I am a beginner and I would like to begin a foundation to converse and to be able to read cyrillic. I have until July 12 when I leave. i am looking for a native speaker who can help me. I have tried some books and software but I have questions that I have no one to ask and I wish to speak with some one who is familiar with the language to help me with pronunciation and accent. I want to learn Irish to a proficient degree, both reading and writing. I have taken a college course in the language. It was an introductory course and, unfortunately , I have forgotten most of it. I stopped taking the course, not out of lack of interest, but because I moved away from the area and have not found an instructor to continue. With my current schedule I feel that I can dedicate an average of 1-2 hours a day on learning the language. I am interested in finding an instructor who can guide me using books, flashcards and, most importantly, conversation, in learning the language.
