I am strictly a beginner.
I am learning this because I am a minister in an area with a high population of Vietnamese people.
I'll dedicate as much time as I can and as much as I can afford to pay for.
I want a teacher that can teach me the language inside and out. I am learning from Rosetta Stone but I find that while it seems to be pretty good, it still leaves something to be desired.

I have interest in learning Russian as a beginner as well as for my 4 year old daughter. My daughter was speaking russian a year ago and has learned english quickly. We want her to keep her hertiage.
I would like to start with learning the cerillic alphabet. I have difficulty with the letters.
M y major goal is to have my daughter learn at a young age.
I don't have any idea how many hours per week would be required for her.

I graduated from college in 2005, but I have never taken any Arabic language courses. I know nothing of the language and plan on buying a book for self learning in the near future, but would like a classroom type of experience as well to keep me focused. I'd like to attend class around two times a week, for no more than two hours a session. An hour per session would be ideal due to my busy work schedule. I would like for my language teacher to be patient but strict on what they expect. They do not have to have a ton of experience, but a knack for teaching. I want to take Arabic because I have never truly pursued a foreign language, and with everything that is going on in the world, this seems to be a good one to learn.

I am long out of college, but now I am almost done with my 2nd semester of college Spanish. After the emphasis on grammar I now want to work on conversation skills, since those are my true goals (for travel, mainly).
I am looking for a regular--once or twice a week--meeting of 1-2 hours of one-on-one conversation practice. Preferably after work, i.e. early evening, e.g. 6pm - 8pm.
