Hello, my name is Courtney, I am 25 years old and I would like to learn Turkish. I am a beginner learner of Turkish and I wish to become fluent and able to communicate on my own in Turkey. I live in Fort Lauderdale, FL and I would prefer formal, in person classes. I need a patient and encouraging teacher that will help me through my insecurities of messing up. I am exposed to the Turkish language on a daily basis and I have been for the last 3 years or so, but I only seem to pick up vocabulary and have difficulties with grammar and conversation. I have found it difficult to learn through email and online, I need the direct contact and feedback from my teacher. I have also tried CD's and books, both of which I find difficult without guidance and direction. My schedule is very flexible, I only work 2-3 nights per week and it is usually during the weekend. I am available most weekdays and nights for class and I am able to dedicate several hours each day we meet. Please feel free to contact me if you are interested in teaching me Turkish.

I have never learned Hindi in the past, but I am fluent in both English and French, and I am a rather studious and fast paced learner. I would like to learn Hindi because post achieving my Assoiates Degree in Women's Studies, I wish to spend to years abroad in India to learn about global feminism with women in India. I am able to devote weekly or bi weekly appointments for lessons and I am more than willing to study on my own time. In a teacher I am looking for someone who is open minded and cultured and who is willing to create a personal connection with me as a student.
