I am a begginer with the vietnamese language.I would like to learn vietnamese for personal reasons.I have alot of viet freinds and it would be nice to understand what they are talking about.Plus I have always wanted to learn a forien language and viet would probably be the one I would use most often.I am free on fridays and saturdays.I would like a teacher who speaks the southern dialect because that is what most vietnamese people I know speak.

Hi! I am very interested in learning new languages in particular... vietnamese. My husband is vietnamese and we have two children who we would love to teach vietnamese to as well. I am a beginner but I do know how to speak Swedish as well so I am familiar with learning a second language. We would like to begin right away and would prefer a native speaker who is patient and understanding to teach our family.

I took 3 years of Japanese in high school. I have forgotten a lot but I still have all my notes and am currently relearning. I am familiar with sentence structure and can read hiragana. I am looking for help relearning and to learn more. I am eager to improve my skills in speaking Japanese. I would have to say that I am still very much a beginner.
I am trying to learn Japanese because I want to go to Japan within the next 5 or 6 years and I want to be able to communicate well with the people there. I am also wanting to learn for job-related purposes. I also love the language and culture of Japan.
I get 2 days off a week from work and I am more then willing to study whenever else I can.
As far as what I'm looking for in a teacher. I am looking for someone who can speak the language well and can help with everything from vocabulary and grammar to how to speak a regular conversation.
