Adv. Beginner - I have a Russian boyfriend and have been to Russia twice and am really wanting to improve my skill for the next time that I go, so that I can talk to his family etc.
I definitely need help with grammar as well as reading and writing, because I have mostly learned Russian through hearing and speaking.
I will dedicate 2-3 hours a week to learning.
I am looking for a teacher who is patient, and who will also be very natural in teaching me, so that there is not a large gap between learning and knowing.

But, I'm not asking for me. I'm asking for my girlfriend who lives in Paliparan. Is that close to you? She speaks Tagalog, and her English is fair, but needs to be better.
I would like to find her an English school near her house. I would like to pay the school directly (personal check, credit card, Western Union, or Xoom).
In a teacher, I am looking for someone that can improve her English. I would like to talk to them on the telephone first so I can decide if their English is good.
To be honest, it concerns me to see in the Frequently Asked Questions the following sentences:
'My teaching Schedule for this summer will be everyday i will be free for this coming summer and the payment policy will depend on the agreement. I've been teaching for 5 years with different levels. I think that makes me more effective teacher in a way bec. i can relate to different levels of students '
because of the English mistakes contained in the sentences. But even here in the USA, lots of people who speak perfect English do not write perfect English. So I just want to make sure your spoken English is good.
By the way, the correct way to write the above sentences would be:
This summer, I will teach on my free days. The payment policy will depend on the agreement. I've been teaching for 5 years at different levels. This makes me a more effective teacher because I can relate to different levels of students.
If you are not near Paliparan, can you recommend someone who is?
