Hello,
I am currently interested in learning Croatian for personal as well as business reasons. My mother is from Croatia while my father was from Slovenia. Growing up in the US, I naturally had a lot of exposure to the Croatian language, but as English was used in the house I never learned to properly speak or understand it, unlike most of my relatives on my mother's side of the family. I have been to Croatia several times over the years visiting my family as well as on non-family holidays.
While in London, I took Croatian lessons for a few months, but I have been moving since the beginning of the year back to Montclair, NJ. I would like to begin my study again, perhaps on a weekly basis. I work in New York City but would prefer to arrange lessons in the Montclair area if that is possible.
In terms of other languages that I have studied, I have had a good understanding in the past of German and Italian. However, it has been many years since I've studied them and I'm no longer really conversant in them. As part of my job, I received some lessons in Russian a few years ago but never had the time to dedicate to it.

Hello,
my name is Jessica Essig and I am interested in learning Italian. I am at a beginner level, but I pick the language up very easily because I already speak Spanish. I want to learn Italian to further my religious ministry. I am willing to dedicate 2-3 hrs a week to learn Italian. I have completed first year Japanese from Portland Community College. I am a beginner.
