I am currently at a beginning level of speaking Portuguese. I have purchased the 'Teach yourself Portuguese' Book and CDs to help me. I have also purchased a grammar and a '501 verb' book to assist with my endeavor. I can dedicate three to five hours per week on Portuguese lessons. I need some assistance in learning to improve my conversationa l skills. Right now, I understand a few words that are spoken to me and I need to improve that, as well as my pronunciation .

I would like to learn Croatian for various reasons. After visiting friends in Zagreb, I would like to return to the country and be able to gain a certain level of fluency, but think it would be necessary to have a starting point ahead of time. Also, I plan on attaining my PhD in linguistics and think that the knowledge of a non-latin language would be helpful in this endeavor.

Hi...im a high-school student. I recently switched languages. I went from spanish to now taking Japanese. I have no clue how to speak and write japanese. So that would make me an extreme beginner (lol). The areas i need help are everywhere. I hope to find a native speaker to help me learn, but it really doesn't matter as long as you are a good teacher. The time i would like to have the lessons would have to be when i get out of school which is 3:00pm, but i can discuss the time with my teacher so we can work out a good schedule.
