I have no training in Serbo-Croatia n but I do have training in other Slavic Languages (Russian and Czech, 3 years Russian, 2 years Czech). Sensei,
I am at the advanced beginner level, after two months in Tokyo, and some self-study in US (have completed 'Japanese For Busy People Book One' and several other introductory texts). I have learned hiragana and katakana but unfortunately do not have the time to learn kanji or truly learn to read or write. My goal would be 'advanced conversation. ' I work with Japanese people on occasion and plan to travel in Japan again this year or next. I would like to be able to have basic conversations in Nihongo, and also be able to function in restaurants, hotels, public places, etc. Basically, to be able to talk to the person sitting next to me on the Shinkansen, if that person speaks no English.
I'm looking for one hour a week lesson via online computer voice chat (SKYPE for example). And for a teacher who does not mind focussing on conversation and vocabulary.

Hi, looking to find someone to help me learn russian in a casual, friendly atmosphere. I have tried to sign up at a local college but the class was canceled. I have tried to learn on my own also but I am afraid that my pronunciation is wrong. I am a beginner with very little experience. I am looking to learn Russian for enrichment only, I love all language, learning from someone who shares this passion would be a wonderful experience! I'm not sure what to expect for prices or meetings or anything. Infomation at this point would be great!!!

My name is Amanda and I am interested in learning to speak Russian, so I of course would have to start at the beginning stage. I want to learn Russian, because I absoultely love to learn languages. I can speak Spanish, Arabic, and German. I will admit that my German has gone bad lately since I have no one to speak with but I plan to re-learn it.
