I'm very interested in taking the knowledge that I have in French to a greater level. I have friends that speak fluent french, however, the time is not availabe for them to teach me. I consider myself to be beyond beginner's level because my vocabulary probably consists of more than 300 words. Also, I do not have a problem reading and comprehending books that are written in french ( just so as long as the writing is just basic grammar and it consists of the usual vocabulary).
Unfortuna tely, my problem with the frech is pronunciation and listening to someone who is speaking french. When someone is speaking french it stills sounds blury. I can only make out 1 or 2 words if they are speaking fast. Basically, I would really like to work on conversations or whatever I need to do to get to the level of understanding of what a person is saying when they are speaking french. Ideally, I'm looking at studying with a tutor or group once a week.

I just returned from a trip to the Ukraine and made several friends while I was there. I am interested in returning early next year or during the summer months. I would like to be able to communicate over the phone as well as when I return. I have my weekends free and I have the ability to travel a reasonable distance (150 miles) for weekly lessons.
