This is my second year studying French and I consider myself as intermediate. I studied french in high school and I went back to study it 2 years ago. I like the language but also I need to be able to analyse and study some documents written in french in order to complete my PhD.

Reason for learning: In order to complete my PhD, and to increase my career advancement. I like languages and like to be able to communicate to people in their languages.
I am willing to dedicate approximately 2-4 hours a week of class. I would like to improve in every area, specially in grammar and writting. I am not a good speaker in any language, so i would like to improve my pronuntiation .
The qualities I would like in a teacher is that he or she be knowledgeable in the French language and have patience with my pronunciation .

I am would like to learn french even though learning another language is especially hard for me. I took spanish classes in highschool and struggled to make decent grades. I am interested in improving my Croatian for many reasons.
Fir st, for personal satisfaction and secondly, I would like to improve my vocabulary in the area of business. My issues have always been with grammar. I would like to attend to lessons as much as possible (repitition) once I get started. I try to listen to radio stations on the internet as much as possible.I can understand the weather report and the like, but when then start speaking about political situations I start to get lost.
I can have typical conversations & everyday interactions. But technical & esoteric vocabulary are beyond my grasp.
I have taken several classes throughout different stages in life, but would like to zero in on my problem areas.
