I spoke Korean as a first language until I was five years old, then stopped. I can understand a bit of spoken Korean, but I am very inhibited about speaking my five year old Korean out loud. I would like to learn Korean since it is a part of my heritage.
I could devote several hours a week to lessons.
I have had bad experiences with teachers who could not understand my family situation or who took my not keeping up with my Korean as a mark of moral deficiency. I'd like to meet someone tolerant.
