My proficiency level would have to be beginner in this language. I understand more than i can speak. I am taking an interest in Serbian because my family speaks the language but i was never able to pick it up as a child. I mostly want to improve my conversation knowledge in the language and be able to read and write enough to interact that way if need be. I can dedicate as much time as needed or directed. I'm looking for a teacher with a sense of patients for the students learing of the subject and a true understanding of what it means to 'teach'. Anybody can just throw the material at the student and expect them to pick it up, but it takes a good one to take the time to carefully make the student understand and apprectiate what they are learning.
