I am brazilian american with very minimal portuguese background - - little sing songs, food names, culture, those are the things that i am familiar with, I take to learning lanuages quicky. My mother is fluent so i have a good disscusion partner! I am learning because the language is so beautiful and i intend on going to Rio - where my mother is from - quite often in the not so distant future. I was to become fluent with the language. I am looking for a teacher that very patient! I have taken spniah for the past three years and an taking it again this year. I plan on minoring in either spanish or portuguese.

My partner and I are interested in learning Italian for conversation and also for the ability to secure employment in Italy. We are both beginners. I am also interested in someone who can offer text messaging as I have that method of communication available to me during the daytime. My training has come from just being in Mexico and Texas and picking up the language over the years. I am learning it for reason regarding my business in Mexico. I was hoping dedicate twice a week for language learning if your schedule allowed. No backgroung in Italian yet, But i really want to learn, start as soon as posible, and i can dedicate about 3-6 hours a week... most likely weekends.
