I am at the beginner level in Tagalog. I would like to find a teacher to guide my efforts in becoming proficient in Tagalog.
When my fiancee graduates from school, we will be getting married. I would like to surprise her with a new found ability to speak Tagalog! Learning Tagalog will also allow her to express ideas in her own language to me. This endeavor is extremely important to me, and I would like to find an instructor with a sense of professionali sm and an ability to guide my hard work efficiently.
I am ready to discipline and dedicate myself and all of my evenings and weekends to learning Tagalog, and I hope to find an instructor willing to teach me.

I have studied French for 2 years, but that was in 1997 and 1998, so it's been a while back. I would say that I still remember and can speak and write a lot of what I learnt, but I would really like to revise all that and learn some more vocabulary and grammar.
