I have always wanted to learn French, but due to circumstances was unable to. I was able to take a semester of French in high school, but that has been many years ago.
As an adult, I now have the time to learn this language. I am a beginner, and would like to start that way. I wish to learn the grammer, and progress to conversation.
I could have lessons two to three times a week, depending on the times and days. I am willing to do homework, and I do know someone who would be willing to assist me.
I learn best, seeing something written, writing it down, and hearing it. I just need a patient teacher, who could teach me this beautiful language.

I have just begun to study Mandarin. I am working through the Pimsleur language series and would like to find someone who can monitor my progress and to provide some feedback on my lessons.
I just returned from Beijing, where my son currently lives, and I expect to travel back and forth over the next several years. I would like to become conversant in the language to be able to function in China.
I have alot of time in my car to listen to tapes, and several hours a week to dedicate to one on one instruction.
I would like to find a native speaker to critique my progress and to direct my study.
