Dear Sir or Madam,
My name is Aly Stybel and I am married to an Italian man and I normally reside in Italy and have been for 4 years on and off. I am residing in Michigan now until my brother is married in September and while I am here, I would like to learn Italian very well as I am having a very hard time communicating with anyone other than my family and friends over there. My Italian level is basic, I can get by on my own and do daily shopping, talk with our friends (mostly in Venetian dialect) and talk with my mother-in-law . Yet, my verb usage is terrible and although I can communicate, it is through my friends' patience that they understand me. I have had no formal learning in Italian, all of my knowledge comes from my husband (who speaks English too often) and from my mother-in-law . I need a growth in my grammar knowledge, formal conversation and extensive work with the wonderful amount of Italian verbs and proper use of them. The amount of time I am able to dedicate to lessons is probably twice a week at first and possibly more or less as my brother's wedding approaches.
