I am completely a beginner in Portuguese, but the reason I want to learn it is so that I may communicate with my grandmother in Brazil, along with my father, grandfather, and uncles. My grandmother speaks only a few words in English, and I would like to be able to talk to her without the necessary translation from my father. I recently just met my family in Brazil for the first time in twenty years, and I am only twenty-one years old. You will find that I am a very dedicated student, and will try to work in whatever schedule I may so that I may learn to communicate better.

I am interested in French lessons for my 9 yr old daughter and 3 yr old son. They have never had any formal language lessons. I would like them to have an edge in society as they grow older and come into a workforce that may have a need for multi-languag ed employees. I'm willing to work with a teacher 1hr twice a wk or 2 hrs once a wk. I need someone that has experience with younger children and make the lessons fun for them to learn.
