I spent the last year in Delhi studying Hindustani classical singing, and I learned a bit of Hindi. But I need to practice and learn more grammar. I can read and write at a beginner level, and I can converse - well, I can make myself understood. I want to become fluent. If there is anyone in the Chicago area, I would love to meet in person for conversation practice. Otherwise, online tutoring would be helpful.

I am looking for beginner level classes
I have had one class at the local community college but still struggle with all aspects of beginning Mandarin.
Though learning Chinese would help in career advancement it is not the only reason, my goal is to become proficient in speech and in reading the language.
Depending on mutual schedules I would look for 1 -2 sessions a week. I am willing to put as much time as needed to meet my goal.
I am located near Philadelphia and am willing to travel to Philadelphia or it's surrounding counties for instruction.
