I took Mandarin for 6 mothns with a one on one tutor and i learned all of the pin yin, a fair amount of writing and reading. I am an advanced beginner. I would like to dedicate 1-2 hours a week for Mandarin. I have studied Formal Arabic for almost three years, but would like to learn Levantine colloquial. I am planning to move to Beirut in the fall and would like to find a tutor to help me with Lebanese while I am there. I am applying to do my masters and AUB and I hope to stay in Lebanon or at least the region for a while to live and work.
I am willing to date 8-10 hrs/week to studying, possibly more depending on what I can afford. I really just want someone with experience teaching Lebanese.

I will be a beginner to the Finnish language. My sister-in-law is a native of Finland, and it is my goal to become proficient, if not fluent, in the language. I would like to spend a few hours a week learning, but my time is slightly limited due to my other college courses that I am enrolled in. I am a student at St. John's University in Staten Island, but would like to take the courses in the city. I would like to have a teacher who will push me to learn quickly, and effectively, while being able to help me understand what im saying, not just know what to say if someone says ______.
