Hi,
my name is kelley maclean...I know all of goodnight and goodbye. My boyfriend and his entire family speaks serbian and I want to be a part of it. I need help with conversation and the basic words. I am on break right now from college but i will be back in college at the University of Connecicut taking 17 credits of classes and also working 17 hours a week. I am a spanish major and I have taken 5 years of Russian (7th-11th) grade so i know the cyrillic alphabet. I want to learn really badly and everyone says i can't but i want to show them that i can. What do you think?

I recently married a Romanian; she currently resides on Bucharest, while I remain in the USA. I will be moving to Romania within 8 to 12 months. My wife speaks fluent English, I want to learn Romanian to communicate with other family members who do not speak English, and also so that I am comfortable moving around Bucharest by myself.
I can dedicate 6 to 10 hours per week of a combination of class or tutorial time and home study. Probably 2 to three hours can be in class or with a tutor.
I am a beginner and understand very little, only what I have picked up casually.
The level I wish to attain is converstaiona l, but NOT
geared to tourist applications, but rather day to day living.

I am of Irish heritage and have a great interest in learning the language.
I'd dedicate as much time as needed to learn the language. I have quite a few Irish friends with whom to 'practice'
I also plan to take a trip to Ireland in the summer of 2006, so conversationa l Irish would help a great deal.
I am looking for an instructor with many years spaeking Irish and a knowledge of Irish history. (and lots of patience!)

Mid level spanish - 5 years originally school but 1 semester of college intermediate Spanish more recently -
Learn to improve future career flexibility - interest in basic conversation and knowledge needed to communicate in technical/eng ineering areas - power plant
No knowledge of the other languages.
Interested in 6 hours per week split among 3 languages. Have a full time professional job so will not have a not of time for drilling, etc. outside of class but do spend two hours 4 days per week in the car.
For purposes of developing an appropriate accent, I am interested in learning from a native speaker face to face. May occasionally request lessons via phone if travel intereferes.
Prefer to set up lessons weekday Monday (best) - Thursday after 6:00 pm
