Hello. I am a beginner learner of Gujarati. I am an American woman married to a Gujarati man and am interested in learning the language of his family. My husband was raised here but much of his extended family are only recent arrivals to this country and I am therefore, unable to communicate with them. My goal is to become a proficient speaker of the language. At this point, I am not as interested in writing and reading the script. I have purchased a text course which I am finding helpful and am awaiting a language software to be delivered but feel strongly that personal instruction will speed the process tremendously. I also need assistance in pronunciation .

I know very little Tagalog - I am a beginner and born in the US
Why? Two main reasons: 1) intellectual interest in learning a foreign language 2) I am married to a Filipina, and her whole large family speaks Tagalog. I would get lots of opportunities for practice and to use what I have learned
I can spend 3 to 5 hours a week, and am looking for private lessons so I can learn more quickly.

Hello,
I currently live in Miami Beach but am from Switzerland. My father is from Sarajevo and I have always heard him and other members of my family speaking Bosnian (Serbo-Croati an).
Although I believe I understand a lot of this language, I would really like to correctly learn this language to be able to communicate with my family in Bosnia.
I am bi-lingual in English and French, speak Italian and German and am currently studying Spanish.
