I am actually looking for someone to teach/tutor my young son. I am not sure if he would do better with me or without me but I would be open to your ideas. He currently attends a language class two times a week and does very well. I would like to pursue other options to maximize his language exposure. Hello, my name is Bor Vang, I am hmong American. I can speak, read and write in English. As for Hmong I am somewhat fluent in speaking, but I'm curently taking class on how to write Hmong. I'm currently going to school to become an Register Nurse. My goal is to travel the world ( Southeast Asia in particular) doing missionary work and helping the poor. I don't have any knowledge about vietnames language. I would be starting at the beginning. What I'm looking for to get out of this is to be able to communicate fluently and understand what I'm saying as well as being able to read and write in Vietnamese. What I expect from my teacher is to know their stuff, get to know me and find ways or methods that I will understand. I'm willing to spend two to three hours a day to learn. I eventually want to learn other foreign languages, laos, Thai etc.
