I am a beginner in the Irish Gaelic language. I am looking at graduate programs in the Republic of Ireland. (Still not sure if I am going to be a medievalist or will concentrate on modern day Ireland) Either way I nned to be proficient in Gaelic. I would like to start in May of 2006 and will be able to dedicate a significant amount of time to learning the language. I need a teacher who understands the needs of an older beginning language student.

I am a government employee seeking to learn Serbo-Croatia n for two primary reasons: career advancment and to reintroduce the language into my family. I must confess that I have no experience in the language, but my serious study habits will more than make up for the lack of experience. I maintained a 3.9 in undergraduate school, and I am currently maintaining a 4.0 as a graduate student in security policy studies. In addition, as a prior active duty Marine Officer, I am capable of a degree of dedication unparalleled by most of my peers.
As a full-time employee and part-time grad student, I am seeking a teacher who doesn't mind conducting night classes. I am open to suggestions as to how often I should meet with the instructor; they know more than I do about the best methods for learning this language. However, I am more inclined to the idea of meeting once a week for two to three hours, the purpose of which would be to give me a sound base to run with the rest of the week. (The frequency with which I meet the teacher can increase between graduate semesters.)

I work in Irvine, California, USA for a Japanese company where many employees are of Japanese descent. The non-Japanese speaking employees would like to learn some basic communication skills related to every-day use and business use. Proficiency level is beginner. We would like to learn weekly for about 90 minutes each lesson. The amount of lessons is undertermined at this time. The amount of students is also undetermined at this time, but I would guess 5 to 10.
Can you please share with me what options we have for learning Japanese through you.
