I travel to China four to five times per year and have picked up a few phrases over the past 4 years.

I am interested in finding a teacher who will help me re-learn croatian. You see, my parents are originally from croatia and when they moved to America, the language they needed to learn was english to get around. I was their teacher and in the process I didn't learn the correct grammar to speak the language fluently. And now I really want to know croatian because my entire family lives in Croatia.
In previous visits, I would shy away from speaking the language because of the fear of embarrassment if I spoke incorrectly. And I don't want to feel this way anymore. I am really serious about learning croatian so I can feel great during a future visit.
I know enough to understand a conversation between two people. When I watch croatian tv, such as scola, I know enough to understand the gist of what is being said. But I would like to know the language well enough to interact confidently.
Anyone who is interested in becoming my tutor doesn't have to live in the same city I posted. I am willing to drive 30 miles or a bit more to learn. I would prefer 1hr lessons, probably two hours per week.
