I am a beginner, although I have been to greece and I know some very basis words, etc.
I am learning Greek for several reasons, but mostly I am serious now because I will have children soon and I want them to learn other languages from birth, and my fiance is Greek, we both need to practice and speak so that we can talk with his relatives and grandparents in the US and Greece!
I love the language and I want to talk to people I love, and pass the language on.
