I am a native of Taiwan, but came to the US when I was six-years-old . I can still speak Mandarin, but am interested to learn how to read and write the Chinese language. I also have a 6-year-old daughter who is interested in taking Chinese/Manda rin language lessons (either bo-po-mo-fo or Pin-Yin is fine; she has learned the basics of both methods already). I am looking mostly for a tutor for my daughter, as my first priority if to have her read and write like a native (she can speak Mandarin very well already). If the teacher permits, I may sit in on classes as well just to educate myself, along with my daughter, but she will be the priority.
