My 15 year old son has a talent for foreign languages. He is currently an A-student in Honors French 3 as a high school sophmore. He plans to pursue a career in a foreign-langu age related field. He would like to learn another language in addition to french.
He is particularly interested in german, since his dad is fluent in that language -- he feels it would be advantageous to have someone to converse with in german on a regular basis. Unfortunately , his high school does not offer German language instruction.

I have no experience in Russian whatsoever. I am a beginner. I would like to learn Russian for career advancement and opportunities . Being in the oil/gas refining industry I feel that this is one of the most important languages necessary. Not sure on how much time I have/need to devote.
