Intermediate: I have been studying Mandarin Chinese for more than two years, using CDs and a Chinese - English / English - Chinese dictionary. I have also taught English to two ladies from Taiwan for one year, while they help me learn Chinese. I want to improve my listening, speaking and writing skills. I have never taken a Spanish class before. I lived in Portugal for 4 months and traveled in Spain often then and was able to pick up on it fairly easily. Other than a few basic phrases to get me around, though, I am pretty much a beginner.

I will be permanently moving to Denmark in the spring of 2006 and naturally would like to get started learning Danish. I have not had any experience with the language besides the limited software and tapes I was able to find and, of course, these are not sufficient for learning pronunciation and actually speaking the language. I would like to learn French for a trip to France that I am planning with my sons. If all goes well we will go in April 2006. I have very basic knowledge of French b/c of school and my Mom, I can read enough French to be able to get the jest of the sentence.
