I am compelled to learn the Aramaic/Assyr ian language because it is very beautiful. I am a musician, specializing in vocal composition, and I desire to write songs in the language that I believe Jesus spoke when he was here on earth.
These songs would be used by my church for theatrical plays, choir numbers, vocal performance, etc. I dream someday of recording an entire album or CD with the songs that I've composed in the Aramaic language, and perhaps writing background music for historical/bi blical films.
I do not know any of the Aramaic/Assyr ian language as of yet. But I have studied foreign language before (Spanish) and understand the extensive effort that must be paid to speak, read, and write a language fluently.
I do not attend a university or college at this time, so I would be able to pay a tutor for their time, as I am not currently investing in other education. I would commit to three meetings per week, and also, any homework that is involved. I am willing to do this in person or by e-mail/phone/ video.
I am looking for a tutor with patience and a desire to share their love of the language. I wish to work with a teacher who is consistent and reliable, able to see me through to the end of my learning process in an organized and encouraging manner.

I am trying to find an organization/ individual who would provide spanish classes to adults at exisiting places of business. If this is something you do, could you please give me some information as to the cost and a sample curriculum for this program. I have several organizations who have the need for this. They are all located in Tampa. The class size would range from 4-10 students each who are all at a beginners level.
